Accessibility Statement

Real Growth Matters is committed to making realgrowthmatters.com usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AAA conformance, with operational compliance for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III and Section 508.

Our commitment

We design and build this website with accessibility as a first-class constraint, not an afterthought. Every page is structured so that someone using a screen reader, keyboard navigation, voice control, screen magnification, or reduced-motion preferences gets the full content and full interactive capability the site offers.

Standards we conform to

StandardLevel targetedNotes
WCAG 2.1Level AAAThe most current widely-adopted standard. AAA is the highest of three conformance levels.
WCAG 2.2Level AA (operational)Adopted as it becomes the practical default.
ADA Title IIICompliantOperating as a public accommodation.
Section 508CompliantFor federal-procurement accessibility.
EN 301 549CompliantThe European Union accessibility standard.

What we have built in

  • Semantic HTML — proper landmark roles (banner, navigation, main, complementary, contentinfo) so screen readers can navigate page structure.
  • Single H1 per page, sequential heading levels — H1 to H2 to H3 in DOM order, so screen-reader users can build a correct mental outline.
  • Keyboard navigation — every interactive control is reachable with the Tab key and operable with Enter, Space, or arrow keys. Focus is always visible.
  • Skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
  • ARIA labels on every interactive element and every navigation region where multiple navs exist on the page.
  • Color contrast meeting WCAG 2.1 AAA — 7:1 for body text, 4.5:1 for large text, against all backgrounds we ship.
  • Resizable text — type uses CSS clamp() so text scales smoothly. Pages remain usable when zoomed to 200% per WCAG 1.4.4.
  • Reduced-motion support — animations and transitions are disabled when the user has set prefers-reduced-motion at the OS level.
  • Color-scheme support — light and dark variants honor prefers-color-scheme.
  • Alt text on images — every meaningful image has descriptive alt text. Decorative images use alt="" with aria-hidden.
  • Captions and labels on all form fields, even when the label is visually hidden.
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second per WCAG 2.3.1.
  • Plain language — content is written for a Flesch-Kincaid grade-seven reading level wherever the topic allows.

Known limitations

The interactive simulators on our service pages (the auction-mechanics lab, signal-decay scrubber, channel-arbitrage plotter, audience-overlap calculator) require pointer interaction for fine-grained manipulation. Keyboard-accessible alternatives are provided: text descriptions of the underlying mechanics, and the simulators' static defaults reflect realistic real-world values. We are working to add full keyboard parity in a future release.

How to report an accessibility issue

If you encounter a barrier to using this site, please tell us so we can fix it. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to remediate within fifteen business days where the fix is within our control.

Please include the page URL, a description of what happened, the assistive technology and browser you were using, and how we can reach you to follow up.

Assessment and ongoing review

We test the site with automated tooling (axe-core, WAVE, Lighthouse) on every release, and we run manual screen-reader testing (VoiceOver on macOS/iOS, NVDA on Windows, TalkBack on Android) on every major page. Our internal SEO audit script enforces accessibility checks alongside SEO checks as a single pre-publish gate.
